E-mergo welcomes Louis de Roo as Data Strategy Leader

Louis de Roo, former Solution Owner Business Information at Inter IKEA Systems, joins E-mergo today as Data Strategy Leader. In this role, he will connect data with the business to extract as much value from it as possible for our clients. Themes such as Data Literacy, data-driven working, and Analytics Adoption will play a part in this.

From client to supplier

Louis has been in touch with us for some time already, but from the client side. As Solution Owner Business Information at Inter IKEA Systems, he worked with us extensively on various Qlik Sense questions and on setting up a Qlik support team for IKEA employees.

Connecting data to the business

Louis brings years of experience in retail operations with him. For example, he worked for IKEA in Finance, Logistics, and Operations, after which he led the introduction of data-driven workforce planning within IKEA. In his most recent position, he was responsible for introducing IKEA's Retail Performance Dashboard, a self-service BI environment for all of IKEA's more than 200,000 employees worldwide.

Louis will put this experience to use within E-mergo to support our clients with the kinds of challenges where implementing BI is more than a purely technical matter, or where the added value of data for the business isn't yet sufficiently clear.
