Get a grip on your Azure environment with the Azure Support Framework

2026 04 azure framework

An Azure environment starts out manageable, but grows faster than expected. Costs increase, security settings require attention, and insights are scattered across multiple dashboards. E-mergo's Azure Support Framework periodically brings this together in one overview, so you spend less time searching and see problems coming sooner.

Why an Azure Support Framework is needed

In the beginning, your Azure environment is easy to oversee. A few workloads, some test environments, perhaps multiple subscriptions for different teams. But as the environment grows, so does the complexity. New resources are added, configurations change, and costs shift, without you noticing right away.

Recognizable situations as your Azure environment grows:

  • The bill goes up, but it takes a lot of time to figure out exactly why
  • You wonder whether all security settings are still correct and whether you comply with internal agreements or compliance requirements
  • Every month you collect data again from different dashboards to create reports
  • Signals of possible problems are there, but scattered across multiple overview pages

None of these points is insurmountable on its own. But together they mean you're mostly busy searching, instead of steering.

What the E-mergo Azure Support Framework does

The Azure Support Framework brings structure to that complex situation. Instead of separate dashboards and manually collected reports, you receive one overview monthly or quarterly with the most important insights:

  • Costs: What's changing and why?
  • Security: Which security settings are correct, what's missing, and where is action needed?
  • Health of your environment: Where do we see risks or notable trends?
  • Action points: What do you tackle first to limit risks or unnecessary costs?

The goal is not to gather as many insights as possible, but to create one consistent picture.

Secure and transparent access to your Azure environment

Depending on your situation, we use Azure Lighthouse to manage your environment in a controlled way. Access is fully visible, actions can be traced, and we work with minimal permissions. If additional permissions are needed, we always agree on this explicitly. Transparency and control stay with you.

How you get started

The approach is deliberately simple.

  1. We map out where your priorities lie, such as costs, security, or performance. We take existing agreements around budgets or compliance into account.
  2. We connect the Azure environment to the Framework. Where appropriate, we use Azure Lighthouse, so we can manage the environment in a controlled way.
  3. From that moment on, you receive one periodic overview. The first time, this is the baseline measurement: where do costs stand out, what requires attention around security, and what signals do we see in the health of the environment? After that, the fixed setup helps recognize trends and changes more quickly.
  4. We review the findings together and determine what you tackle first. This way, the overview becomes a practical tool instead of just a report.

This way, the support grows along with your environment.
