GGD Drenthe is the public health service for the municipalities in Drenthe. It works closely with Safety Region Drenthe (VRD), which also includes the fire department and crisis organization.
GGD and Safety Region Drenthe choose TimeXtender for data warehousing
To support both organizations, they were looking for a single system to bring together data from many different source systems. By bundling all data in one data warehouse, Qlik Sense - or any other program - draws this data from a single source. About a year and a half ago, an external project manager, together with the Datahub, went looking for a party that could help with the tooling for this data warehouse. It became a selection process in which several Dutch parties eventually remained. E-mergo came out as the winner.
The Result
A single version of the truth
With TimeXtender, GGD/VRD has one place for all data, i.e. a single version of the truth that can be used across all the different applications.
Platform-independent
TimeXtender is platform-independent, which means the data can also be used in other applications.
Easy data sharing
It's now easier for GGD/VRD to share data with external parties, in project collaborations, or to use certain datasets internally.
