Heijmans is one of the largest construction companies in the Netherlands. Known for the yellow vehicles at roadworks, but also big in utility and residential construction and real estate. Heijmans is digitalizing, in other words: they are increasingly working towards becoming a fully data-driven organization. E-mergo teaches the construction company's employees to make the most of Power BI.

The Heijmans Academy is a platform where the construction company offers courses and training. On that platform, they started with a general online training on Power BI. This helps Heijmans employees get as much out of Power BI as possible. A follow-up training was subsequently developed too, for which the Heijmans Academy has been getting help from E-mergo since 2022.

700 Heijmans employees now use Power BI. Three years ago there were only 50.

Heijmans employees say that thanks to the training they can now work faster and spend less time retrieving data.
