Movares is a consultancy and engineering firm building a livable, accessible and sustainable Netherlands. Its 800 employees work on large-scale projects at the intersection of mobility, infrastructure, digital transformation, climate adaptation, circular construction and the energy transition. Project managers often have ten to fifteen projects under their wing at the same time. For them, it's important to keep good financial control of such a project and to see its status at a glance. Movares used AFAS software for its financial administration. But it was still looking for more insight into its projects.

Keeping an overview of the financial results of these projects at a glance was no longer really possible in the administrative system. E-mergo solved this with the combination of TimeXtender, Azure and Power BI. “Especially when you have fifteen projects under your wing, the clear charts and colors really help to have this overview immediately.” That's according to Daniëlé ten Hoope, IT advisor information management at Movares. Movares keeps a visual overview of projects through the interactive dashboards built with Power BI. With the red and green traffic lights, they immediately see what's going on.
