SnelStart produces accounting software for two target groups: accountants and entrepreneurs. At SnelStart, they use a development program for their employees to certify them in certain competencies. For twelve employees of the company, this was the competency 'data-driven working'. E-mergo was asked to put together a proposal for the training program.
SnelStart improves business objectives through data-driven working
"Can you help us set up a training program to get employees working more data-driven?" That was the concrete question E-mergo received at the end of 2022. Starting from that question, E-mergo got to work setting up a training program. A training program was put together combining 'tool-agnostic' training sessions. These are training sessions that aren't about learning to use a tool, but about learning how data can help with decision-making.

SnelStart employees now think more carefully about what you can and can't do with the available data, so they engage in data-driven working more on a daily basis.
Data club
The training participants were so enthusiastic that they agreed among themselves to keep developing data-driven working within SnelStart together. To do this, they've now set up a 'data club' to bring colleagues and the organization along on this journey.
KPIs
Employees now know how to formulate KPIs themselves, giving them a solid foundation to keep working with the data.
